I’m happy to say that I’ll have two of my poems - Spilt and Bang-bang appearing in the next issue of JAAM magazine. Thanks to the editor of this issue (26) Tim Jones, who obviously has excellent taste! It should be launched by September for those of you desperate to get a hard copy.

Poem for Carmen

This is a draft poem I’m working on. The motif I’m thinking about is Magical Thinking. Feedback welcome.
Carmen’s mother
Carmen’s Mother is a bird.
She shat on the front seat of the truck
two nights in a row
she wasn’t pleased.
On the third night Carmen’s dad shut the window
in the morning little scratch marks

Life changes

I’m very excited to share with you that I’ve made a big decision. I’ll be taking the next 6 months off business to write!
