They told me but I didn’t listen and now I’m suffering from “Second Sock Syndrome” (SSS).
Isn’t it lovely? It’s Opal self patterning yarn. If only it had a partner…must.pick.up.needles.

I thought you couldn’t knit!! Socks are hard. You can SO knit.
And in my world SSS stands for Stripy S… S……..

Haha, I can knit one sock but now I can’t remember how to do the 2nd one, I can’t seem to get it to join properly on the first row. All that counting does my head in too and I’m already lala!
That’s not the one you’ve been doing since we knit together is it? Turned out great. Now pick up those needles and cast on. (I’ve just learned the 2-at-a-time socks technique to forever banish SSS.)
Arrgh! I’m ashamed! It’s true! I keep trying and keep doing some kind of booboo, might help if I don’t try and do it while kids are screaming at each other aye? 😉
I could get my Nana to knit the other one for you?!
go for billie’s grandma – though it looks like damn fine solo sock you’ve made.
